Our Client, a major, diversified business operating across the Caribbean is seeking a transformational Vice President, Retail to lead one of its largest and most iconic retail divisions. This is a high-impact, strategic role for a seasoned executive ready to drive long-term value, unlock innovation, and shape the future of retail in the region.

The Role

As Vice President, Retail, you will take full leadership of a complex, multi-market retail operation, overseeing everything from commercial performance and customer experience to innovation, digital transformation, and sustainability. You'll work closely with the executive board and senior stakeholders to deliver bold growth strategies — including organic expansion and strategic acquisitions.

This role is about more than operations — it's about vision, values, and influence. You’ll represent the organisation at the highest levels, internally and externally, with a mandate to build an enduring and purpose-driven business.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day operations of the retail division, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and financial targets
Drive growth across markets through innovation, operational excellence, and customer-centric strategies
Collaborate with senior leadership and the Board to shape and implement long-term strategic plans
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance, ensuring sustainable profitability
Champion talent development, succession planning, and a high-performance culture across teams
Establish strong governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks
Represent the business with external stakeholders, including regulators, partners, and community leaders
Promote ESG initiatives and ensure ethical leadership is embedded at all levels of the organisation

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
Master’s Degree preferred
15+ years of senior leadership experience in a complex, multi-unit retail or commercial organisation
Experience working at the executive or C-suite level in a fast-paced environment
