Role Description The Produce Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role located in Rock Sound Eleuthera, responsible for overseeing daily operations in the produce department. This role manages inventory levels, product rotation, and merchandising to ensure fresh, well-presented produce that meets company standards. The Produce Supervisor leads and trains team members, coordinates work schedules, and supports a positive, service-focused environment. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring quality and food safety practices, addressing customer inquiries, and collaborating with store management to meet sales and performance targets. The role also involves maintaining cleanliness, complying with health regulations, and supporting continuous improvements in department efficiency.

Qualifications

Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to interact effectively with customers, team members, and management.
Proficiency in Inventory Control and Inventory Management to oversee stock levels, ordering, rotation, and waste reduction.
Knowledge of Food Safety standards and practices, including handling, storage, and sanitation requirements for fresh produce.
Experience in retail or supermarket operations, particularly in produce or fresh food departments.
Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team supervision, coaching, and performance feedback.
Ability to work on-site full time in Eleuthera, including weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in food safety or retail management is an asset.
