POSITION SUMMARY

The Marketing Coordinator is a hands-on, execution-focused role responsible for supporting day-to-day marketing operations, content creation, and campaign coordination at The Fitness Connection. This is a hybrid role, combining in-person work for content capture, events, and activations with remote administrative and coordination work.

This position is ideal for an entry-to-mid-level marketer who enjoys being close to the action, supporting campaigns, organizing deliverables, and ensuring marketing initiatives are executed cleanly and consistently.

While this role does not own marketing strategy or paid media budgets, it plays a critical role in execution, coordination, creative production, and organization alongside the Marketing & Brand Manager.

Success in this role requires creativity, organization, attention to detail, and a strong bias toward action.

• Content is consistently captured, edited, and deployed across marketing channels

• Marketing campaigns launch on time with no execution gaps

• Social, retail, and event marketing efforts are aligned and on-brand

• Leadership has clear visibility into active campaigns and deliverables

• Brand presence is professional and consistent across all platforms

• Marketing operations run smoothly, organized, and without last-minute fire drills

OBJECTIVES

• Capture in-person photo and video content for social media, promotions, and paid ads

• Edit short-form video and creative assets for ongoing marketing use

• Support Meta Ads execution by uploading, formatting, and quality-checking creative assets

• Assist with campaign coordination across social, retail, and in-store promotions

• Maintain content calendars, timelines, and organized asset libraries

• Support in-store signage, promotions, and campaign rollouts

• Assist with event and activation execution, including setup and content capture

• Monitor social media engagement and escalate issues when needed

• Prepare basic summaries or updates on campaign activity

• Support continuous improvement of marketing workflows and organization

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is a plus, but not required

• Entry-level to 2 years of experience in marketing, content creation, or a related role

• Experience using Canva; CapCut or similar editing tools preferred

• Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, and Meta Business Suite

• Comfortable working in a hybrid role with both remote and in-person responsibilities

• Willingness to support events and in-store activations as needed
