We're hiring: Google Cloud Architect | Remote · LATAM · Contract

Arvenda is a staffing company connecting top LATAM talent with U.S. and international clients. We are recruiting an experienced Google Cloud Architect for a short-term project engagement (approximately 2 months, subject to confirmation), designing and implementing cloud-based data solutions within the Google Cloud ecosystem.

This is a contract, project-based role with flexible hours based on project requirements and client collaboration needs. French language skills are highly preferred, as the role may involve collaboration with French-speaking stakeholders.

What you'll do

Design and architect scalable, secure, and cost-effective Google Cloud solutions
Lead data engineering initiatives, including data integration, transformation, and analytics workflows
Develop deployment and orchestration strategies for cloud-based applications and data platforms
Optimize cloud infrastructure costs while maintaining performance and reliability
Ensure compliance with security standards, governance policies, and industry best practices
Design highly scalable and high-performance cloud architectures
Implement automation and DevOps practices to streamline deployments and operations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business and technical requirements
Provide technical guidance and architectural recommendations throughout the project lifecycle

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Cloud Architect, Solutions Architect, or similar role
Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Experience with cloud solution design, deployment, and architecture governance
Strong background in Data Engineering and cloud-based analytics platforms
Hands-on experience with Kafka, Google Cloud Storage (GCS), BigQuery, Dataform, and Looker
Knowledge of cloud security, compliance, and risk management best practices
Experience with infrastructure automation and DevOps methodologies
Strong understanding of performance optimization and scalability strategies
Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
French language proficiency — highly preferred
Ability to work independently in a remote, project-based environment
