Role Description

The Membership Services Officer (MSO) is responsible for the day-to-day administration, financial health, and community engagement of BEAVA. This role serves as the primary point of contact for members, ensuring that the association's value proposition is communicated effectively. The MSO balances strict administrative enforcement (dues and compliance) with "soft" skills focused on camaraderie, mentorship, and professional development.

Qualifications

Associate degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
3+ years in administrative support, customer service, or event planning. Experience in bookkeeping or using membership management software is a significant asset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; strong social media skills; basic understanding of financial record-keeping.
