Position

• Civil/Structural Engineer (Owner’s Engineer) – Contract Assignment, Guyana

Role Overview

• Act as Owner’s representative for substation and overhead transmission line projects

• Review and evaluate EPC contractor civil and structural designs

• Ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards, and contract requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Review calculations, drawings, material submittals, and technical documentation

• Provide written technical comments and recommendations

• Supervise civil and structural construction works on site

• Monitor quality control, inspections, testing, safety, and construction progress

• Ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings and schedule

• Prepare technical and progress reports for the Owner

Qualifications & Requirements

• MSc in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering (mandatory)

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in substation and OHL projects

• Proven experience in design review and site supervision

• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory
