Nassau Airport Development Company (NAD) manages and operates Lynden Pindling International Airport (LPIA), the main international gateway to The Bahamas, located near Nassau. Proudly owned by the Government of The Bahamas and managed by the Vantage Group, NAD oversees LPIA's infrastructure, including terminals, parking lots, runways, and revenue-generating developments. Role Description

To assist the Capital Projects Team in providing supervisory support with the implementations of NAD’s Sustaining Capital Program, inclusive of applying professional principles, practices, and techniques to achieve budget, scope, quality, and organizing, for the successful execution of all capital projects. As the Capital Program Development and Analysis Supervisor, you will also ensure that project activities for the fiscal period are completed on time while adhering to the contractual commitment and integrity required by the organization. This is inclusive of capital programs development, project management, contract administration, financial management, creation of the project schedules and completion of technical assignments. It involves the proper tracking, recording and reporting of project activities, the management of internal and external client communications, project data analysis and quality control. The Capital Program Development and Analysis Supervisor is business oriented, customer-focused and an organized individual who takes ownership and the initiative to ensure the Capital Program’s success. The Capital Program Development and Analysis Supervisor will also be responsible for the supervision and training of all relevant team members and staff on the Capital Program’s policies, process and procedures.

Qualifications

Proven experience in project management, including overseeing capital projects, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Technical skills in infrastructure development, construction, engineering, or related fields; experience in aviation-related projects is a plus.
Strong communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills to manage contractors and liaise with stakeholders effectively.
Knowledge of safety standards, regulatory compliance, and best practices in construction and airport operations.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) are an advantage.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to handle multiple projects and interact professionally with other departments, Contractors, stakeholders and customers.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

· Assist with the management of the Capital Budget

· Perform all relevant project management duties.

· Prepare and present project scope and schedules.

· Prepare project estimates and financial outlay.

· Assist with the creation of the fiscal year program for approval.

· Work in collaboration with the officer of primary interest’s field managers to create the project schedule, tasks, material and service pricing.

· Negotiate vendor contracts and perform contract administration.

· Create project documentation and present project overview.

· Provide project training to staff and vendors.

· Ensure required materials are procured and available for project completion.

· Monitor project schedule daily for accuracy and timely completion of scheduled activities.

· Closely manage all project carryovers with expediency for a successful completion.

· Create and provide weekly internal and external status reports; establish communication and escalation plans with the team where necessary.

· Record and review field data and perform analysis to improve the Capital Program’s policy and procedures.

· Maintain financial expenditure accuracy of project execution

· Ensure project work compliance with the local and internation accepted codes and standards.

· Prepare all necessary project documentation as required.

· Review and assist with the approval of invoices and change orders.

· Communicate effectively with internal and external customers and provide timely responses to all inquiries.

· Supervise and train all relevant team members on the policies, process and procedures related to the Capital Program.

· Other duties as assigned.
