Field Development Specialist

As a Field Development Specialist, you are responsible for the integrated development and maturation of oil and gas field developments from discovery through FEED and Final Investment Decision. You translate corporate and business objectives into robust development concepts and project decisions. In this role, you work closely with multidisciplinary teams and JV partners in an international deepwater offshore environment. You provide strategic, technical, and economic input throughout all FEL phases.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate field development planning from discovery evaluation through FEED (FEL0–FEL3)
Develop, evaluate, and select field development concepts, including scenario, risk, and economic assessments
Integrate subsurface, drilling, facilities, and commercial inputs into coherent development plans
Translate business objectives into project drivers, design choices, and execution strategies
Proactively collaborate with internal stakeholders, JV partners, contractors, and regulatory bodies

Requirements:

Minimum of 15–20 years of experience in field development within deepwater offshore oil & gas environments
Strong background in integrated subsurface and surface development planning, including pre-FEED and FEED studies
Proven experience working in JV structures, both as operator and non-operator
Willingness to be based full-time on location with flexibility for international travel
