Job Vacancy - Quality Assurance Associate

Location: Duty Free Shoppers – Free Zone, Vieux Fort

Join our Marketing team as a Quality Assurance Associate and play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our product listings on major marketplaces.

Key Responsibilities:

Learn the ins and outs of various online marketplaces to efficiently resolve listing issues such as inaccurate descriptions and images.
Develop an eye for quickly spotting errors and gaps in product listings and spreadsheet templates.
Utilize detailed audit spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel to check each element of our Product Detail Pages (PDPs), generating a report that can be utilized by other teams.
Act as a liaison between our content teams (copywriting and creative), account managers (product launch), ticketing team (for escalated issues), and marketing associates (advertising).
Maintain and update Excel spreadsheets and a product database containing our optimized data, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
Follow established processes in our project management software Asana to ensure tasks move smoothly between teams.
Adapt to new tools and process changes as they are introduced.
Potential to grow into a supervisor role where you will balance the above responsibilities alongside assigning/reviewing tasks and fielding questions.

Skills & Qualifications:

Attention to Detail: Keen eye for spotting discrepancies and potential issues on listings. If you often notice typos or mistakes that others overlook, this role is perfect for you.
Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, particularly in files that utilize formulas such as VLOOKUP. Experience with web software and familiarity with technical backend details of marketplaces is preferred.
Diligence: Careful handling of product copy and imagery to prevent data loss.
Project Management: Experience or willingness to learn project management software such as Asana.
Communication: Ability to clearly articulate the issues you find and determine the best team to help resolve those issues.
Adaptability: Open to learning new processes and tools as the team evolves.
Focus: Ability to maintain focus and thrive in tasks that may be tedious or repetitive.
