Resort Manager for a high-end global hotel / resort group in the Caribbean

Ideal role for an experienced resort leader or a high-potential executive within a luxury International hotel group.

The Resort Manager is a key executive leadership role responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of a luxury resort, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and strong financial performance. Reporting to the General Manager, the Resort Manager will oversee multiple operational divisions and work closely with department heads to maintain the highest standards of luxury, service quality, and efficiency.

This role is ideally suited for a seasoned luxury hospitality leader or a high-potential operational executive—preferably with a strong Food & Beverage background—who is ready to advance to the next level of leadership within a luxury resort environment.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications:

Minimum 3–5 years of senior operational leadership experience in a luxury hotel or resort, with responsibility over multiple operational divisions.
Previous experience as an operational division head (e.g., Director of Rooms, Director of Food & Beverage, or equivalent) within a luxury environment is required.
Strong, working knowledge of all aspects of hotel operations, including Rooms, Food & Beverage, and Spa.
Luxury mindset with a passion for excellence, quality, and personalized guest service.
Highly detail-oriented with a refined eye for luxury presentation and service standards.
Proven ability to run a quality-driven and financially sound operation.
Strong financial literacy, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing financial statements.
Demonstrated success in developing talent and leading diverse teams effectively.
Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and administrative skills.
Caribbean resort experience preferred.

Responsibilities:

Provide executive oversight and leadership of all resort operations, including Rooms, Food & Beverage, Spa & Wellness, and Guest Services.
Ensure the consistent delivery of exceptional luxury guest experiences, with a strong focus on service personalization, quality, and attention to detail.
Drive operational excellence through effective standards implementation, continuous improvement, and adherence to brand and resort service philosophies.
Lead, coach, and develop department heads and management teams, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and high performance.
Collaborate with the General Manager in the development and execution of operational strategies aligned with business goals and guest satisfaction objectives.
Maintain a strong financial acumen, including oversight of departmental budgets, cost controls, productivity, and operational profitability.
Review, analyze, and interpret financial statements, operating reports, and key performance indicators to ensure sound business decisions.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, labor, and regulatory requirements relevant to the resort’s location.
Actively manage guest feedback, service recovery, and reputation management to ensure consistently high guest satisfaction scores.
Support talent development initiatives, succession planning, and leadership pipeline development across all operational departments.
Serve as a visible, hands-on leader within the resort, engaging with guests and colleagues to reinforce a culture of excellence.

Compensation:

Salary: $8,000 - $8,000 USD net / monthly

Annual incentive plan – Target of 25% of base salary up to a max of 37.5%
