Company Description:

CKFTO – Caribbean Kids and Families Therapy Organisation – is a non-profit pediatric interdisciplinary clinic serving children and youth from birth to 21 years for the past 18 years. The organisation is a comprehensive, integrated service provider for children experiencing developmental, physical, cognitive, behavioural, emotional, learning, social, and communication challenges. CKFTO offers specialised paediatric assessment and direct treatment in a compassionate, family-focused clinical environment. In addition to therapy, the organisation provides support services to families and communities across the country.

Responsibilities

Process and record financial transactions, including all invoices and expenses.
Manage accounts payable: invoice verification, approvals, payment processing, and cheque preparation.
Maintain accounts payable ageing and generate status reports.
Manage accounts receivable, including ageing and generating status reports.
Perform bank reconciliations (weekly and monthly) and resolve discrepancies.
Reconcile petty cash.
Prepare and post journal entries, including payroll and adjusting entries.
Assist with month-end closing, reconciliations, and preparation of schedules by the 7th day of the following month.
Maintain organised accounting records and filing systems in accordance with approved policies and procedures.
Support audits and assist with financial reporting and ad hoc accounting tasks.

Requirements & Qualifications

ACCA Level II (or equivalent).
Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a similar role.
Proficiency in Quickbooks Online

Frequency: two working days per week, with three for the first week of the month

Hours: 9am - 4pm
