Job Title: Trade Marketing Supervisor

Reports to: Divisional Sales Manager

Supervises: Sales Consultants and Field Sales Assistants/Customer Service Assistants

Summary:

The Trade Marketing Supervisor is responsible for developing and implementing strategic trade marketing plans to drive brand growth and increase market share. This includes aligning trade marketing initiatives with overall business objectives, managing retail and distributor relationships, and executing promotional plans, merchandising strategies, and in-store activations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Areas:

Trade Marketing Strategy

Develop and implement trade marketing plans to drive brand growth and market share.
Align trade marketing strategies with overall business objectives and sales targets.

Retail & Distributor Management

Build strong relationships with retailers, distributors, and key partners.
Develop promotional plans, merchandising strategies, and in-store activations.

Sales & Market Strategy

Deliver on sales Targets through strategy
Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and consumer insights to optimize trade marketing efforts.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of trade marketing campaigns.

Merchandising & POS Materials

Oversee the creation and distribution of point-of-sale (POS) materials, displays, and branding assets.
Ensure consistency in brand messaging across all retail touchpoints.
Ensure availability at optimum stock levels and visibility on shelf

Promotions & Incentives

Develop trade promotions, discount schemes, and loyalty programs for retailers and distributors.
Track ROI on trade marketing initiatives.

Collaboration with Sales & Marketing Teams

Work closely with the sales team to provide tools and support for driving in-store sales.
Coordinate with the marketing team to align trade campaigns with national and digital marketing efforts.
Ensure that the annual sales targets are achieved inclusive of the individual brand targets.
To assist in the planning and execution of Trade Marketing plans for accounts

Other

Actively participate in promotions, contests, meetings and training
Sell and promote all approved products within your designated sales area
Responsible for marketing the Company’s products.
Other related duties

Minimum Educational/Training Requirements:

3-5 years sales experience
Degree in Business or Management

Demands:

Professional attire and attitude required
Must own a vehicle
Valid driver’s license
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to acquire/grasp product knowledge quickly
Flexible
