We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our security team. As a supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, assets and personnel.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities and an in-depth understanding of security procedures and protocols.

Responsibilities.

Manage and lead a team of security officers providing clear direction, guidance, and support.
Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and guidelines that comply with industry standards and legal requirements.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of security measures at all locations.
Train and educate security personnel on proper security techniques and protocols.
Assign work schedules, tasks, and responsibilities to security officers, always ensuring appropriate coverage.
Review and update of Security Management Plan, Contingency Plans and SOPs for every contract
Ensure administrative functions within the Operations Department are completed in a timely manner e.g. submission of reports, leave forms, queries etc.
Monitor security systems, such as CCTV cameras, access control systems, and alarms to identify and respond to any potential security threats or breaches.
Investigate incidents or complaints, prepare incident reports, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
Stay updated on the latest security technologies, industry trends, and best practices to continuously improve security operations.

Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Business Management and /or Security Administration and Management an asset
Proven experience as a Security Supervisor or similar role within the security industry.
Strong knowledge of security protocols, procedures, and best practices.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively delegate tasks and motivate a team.
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
