Job Description & Summary
At PwC, our people in brand management, marketing and sales focus on collaboration to develop and execute strategic sales and marketing initiatives. They utilise market research, digital marketing, creative campaigns, and effective sales strategies to engage clients, enhance the firm's brand and market presence, and achieve organisational targets.
As a marketing generalist at PwC, you will focus on a wide range of marketing activities aimed at promoting the Firm's products or services. You will conduct market research, develop marketing strategies, create and execute marketing campaigns, and analyse campaign performance. You will leverage a versatile skill set and knowledge in various marketing channels, holding responsibility for validating brand consistency, reaching target audiences, and driving customer engagement and loyalty.
Role Summary (brief high-level description of the role):
Working as an integral part of the Markets function, you will work with partners, directors and managers to drive marketing and communication activities to meet the objectives of the firm.
Reporting directly to the Senior Associate, you will be responsible for assisting with the planning, development and implementation of the firms’ marketing and communications strategies, focused on building our brand, driving awareness of our service offering and supporting business development and revenue growth.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Marketing & Communications
Creative content support: Assist with creative content design by submitting creative briefs, coordinating graphic design production, and creating photo and video content.
Social media assistance: Help with the creation of social media calendars, content creation, scheduling content, and requesting reports.
Copywriting and editing: Support copywriting tasks, including formatting, editing, and proofreading deliverables to ensure brand compliance.
Internal communication: Prepare internal communication materials and proofread and edit communications.
Distribution of publications: Assist in the distribution of firm publications and thought leadership materials.
Advertising: Draft advertisements & coordinate with newspaper/advertising agency/company representative for submission of material
Events
Event coordination: Support the planning and execution of both external events (such as seminars, conferences, and business meetings) and internal events (e.g. employee appreciation events, staff meetings, and Christmas parties). This includes working with and managing event suppliers, obtaining quotations, and conducting site visits.
Event logistics: Help to manage all logistics related to events, including travel arrangements for speakers, preparing event budgets, and managing spend. This also involves handling event communication and follow-up, such as managing attendees, sending invitations, tracking RSVPs, and following up after the event with invoicing and issuing certifications.
Materials preparation: Prepare necessary materials for events, including nametags, packages, gift bags, registration lists, and seating cards.
Supplier management: Source, onboard, and manage relevant suppliers for events. This includes obtaining quotations and conducting site visits to ensure everything is in place for the event.
Event communication: Help to prepare and coordinate all communication related to events, including initial invitations, RSVPs, and follow-up communications after the event.
Budget management: Support the development and management event budgets to ensure that all events are executed within the allocated budget.
Corporate social responsibility
Logistics support: Assist in organising and executing CSR activities such as community service events, environmental initiatives, and educational programs. This includes coordinating logistics, communicating with participants, and ensuring all necessary materials are prepared.
Tracking and monitoring: Help monitor the progress of ongoing CSR projects. This includes tracking milestones, gathering feedback, and reporting on the impact of these initiatives.
Promote CSR initiatives: Assist in promoting CSR activities within the company and to external stakeholders. This can involve creating content for newsletters, social media, and internal communications to highlight the company's CSR efforts.
Data collection and reporting: Collect data related to CSR activities and assist in preparing reports for internal and external stakeholders. This includes documenting participation rates, feedback, and the overall impact of the initiatives.
General administration
Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the Markets function. This includes scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and maintaining records.
Market research: Conduct market research and gather information on customers and competitors.
Brand governance: Ensure the brand is consistently and correctly communicated to internal and external audiences. Coordinate the appearance of all print and electronic materials, including letterhead, logo usage, advertising and brochures.
Relationship building: Establish, develop, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and colleagues at all levels in the organisation.
Feedback and insights: Gather and summarise feedback on performance or insights gathered from any marketing and communications campaigns and/or events.

Education Level (minimum requirement plus any additional desirable qualifications):
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with marketing software (e.g., CRM tools, email marketing platforms).
Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
Basic understanding of SEO, social media, and digital marketing principles.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Experience Level (number of years required and in what fields/industries):
This role is best suited to an individual who has a minimum of 2+ years of marketing and communications.
