Position: Community manager

Location: Norman’s Cay, Bahamas

Full-time | On-site

Position Summary

The Community Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, maintenance, and overall condition of staff housing at Norman’s Cay. This role manages housing-related maintenance and repair requests, ensures timely resolution of work orders through the MicroMain system, and serves as the primary point of contact for employee housing concerns.

The position coordinates with maintenance teams, contractors, and internal departments. and supports housing inspections and tracks repairs.

Key Responsibilities

· Oversee daily operations and overall condition of staff housing and common areas

· Manage maintenance and repair requests through the MicroMain work order system

· Coordinate with maintenance teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely repairs

· Conduct routine housing inspections.

· Prepare detailed inspection findings, maintenance reports, and action plans.

• Lead capital improvement initiatives, renovations, and refurbishment projects.

• Manage project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.

• Prepare and manage budgets for property management and maintenance.

• Monitor expenses, track financials, and identify cost-saving initiatives.

• Provide reports to senior management.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Facility Management, Construction, or related field.

• Previous experience in property management, housing administration, facilities management, or community operations

• Experience managing maintenance requests or work orders (MicroMain experience preferred)

• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced or remote environment

• Strong communication skills

• Basic understanding of building maintenance, repairs, or facilities operations

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Ability to work in a tropical climate and adapt to island living conditions.
