Role Description This is a full-time remote role for an Independent Travel Agent at Best Stay Travels. The Independent Travel Agent will consult with clients to understand their travel preferences and budget, then design and book complete travel packages including flights, hotels, car rentals, and tours. Daily tasks include managing reservations, handling changes and cancellations, responding to inquiries, and providing timely, courteous customer service through phone, email, and online platforms. The role also involves promoting travel packages, using sales techniques to convert leads, and leveraging Best Stay Travels’ tools and marketing materials to increase bookings. The Independent Travel Agent will maintain accurate records of itineraries, payments, and vendor communications while adhering to company policies and travel industry standards.

Qualifications

Strong reservations and travel arrangements skills, including booking flights, hotels, tours, and related services
Proven customer service experience with the ability to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and support clients before, during, and after travel
Knowledge of car rental options and the ability to incorporate ground transportation into comprehensive itineraries
Sales and consultative selling skills to promote travel packages, convert leads, and build long-term client relationships
Familiarity with online booking platforms, CRM systems, and basic office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and handle multiple client requests simultaneously
Previous experience in travel, hospitality, or tourism is preferred but not required; relevant certifications or training in travel services are a plus
Training and certification provided.
