ACCOUNTANT

Álya Construtora – Guyana Branch is seeking an Accountant to work on our project in Linden. If you have solid accounting experience, proficiency in international standards (IFRS), and fluency in English and Spanish, this could be the ideal opportunity to expand your career in a challenging environment.

Key challenges of the position:

Ensure the unit's accounting and tax compliance
Coordinate monthly and annual accounting closings
Support the consolidation of financial information with headquarters
Prepare financial statements and management reports
Serve as a technical reference for IFRS standards
Support budget control, cost analysis, and project financial management

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Solid accounting experience, preferably in the construction, infrastructure, or engineering sectors
Experience with intercompany operations, multiple currencies, and financial consolidation
Proficiency in IFRS standards
Advanced Excel and MS Office skills
Fluent English (mandatory)
Fluent Spanish (mandatory)
