Job Description

The Chef de Partie will support the Sous Chef in the day-to-day management of the kitchen and assume their responsibilities in their absence. The role will contribute to the efficient operation of the kitchen while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, consistency, presentation, hygiene, and service. Key responsibilities include:

Manage and coordinate activities within your assigned kitchen section
Ensure efficient workflow and seamless coordination with other kitchen areas
Maintain impeccable hygiene and kitchen standards in line with HACCP requirements
Prepare and cook dishes according to our menu specifications and quality standards
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, including apprentices and commis chefs
Assist in menu development and implementation of new food concepts
Participate in live cooking demonstrations and interact with customers when required
Collaborate with the sous chef and head chef to maintain kitchen efficiency
Monitor and control food waste, stock levels, and kitchen resources
Adapt quickly to changing priorities during busy service periods.

Qualifications

Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role
Proven track record of excellence in food preparation and presentation
Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
Passion for international cuisine and new food concepts
Experience in live cooking and customer interaction
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong leadership and communication skills
