The Finance Officer will support the Finance Manager with daily accounting operations,

including accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general financial reporting. The ideal

candidate will have experience in accounting or finance, excellent organizational skills, and the

ability to work in a fast-paced automotive dealership environment.

Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable (A/R)

• Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies.

• Prepare and issue invoices, credit notes, and statements as required.

• Handle billing inquiries, collect payment, follow up on overdue payments and coordinate with collections if necessary.

• Monitor aging reports and assist in collections activities.

Banking & Reconciliations

• Perform monthly bank reconciliations of the cash and credit card accounts.

• Monitor and reconcile cash receipts/payment entries to ensure all cash entries are posted to the General

Ledger.

• Record and post bank transactions accurately and in a timely manner.

Inventory

• Enter new inventory and incoming inventory, update data, and investigate any discrepancies.

• Coordinate and assist with spot checks and monthly inventory counts.

• Accurately calculate the landed cost on incoming shipments complete with shipping and custom charges

etc.

Reporting

• Produce daily reports to show the Company's Cash position.

• Assist with filing Business License and VAT Returns and provide supporting documentation as required.

• Prepare monthly Salespersons Commission Reports.

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.

• Assist with month-end closing procedures.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance (automotive or dealership experience is an advantage).

• Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar systems preferred).

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
