We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Assistant to support the day-to-day financial operations of our growing real estate and property management company.

Role Description

Record daily financial transactions, including payments, invoices, and expense reports
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring vendor payments and client invoices are processed accurately and on time
Track incoming and outgoing cash to maintain clear financial visibility
Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts
Input and maintain accurate data in accounting software
Assist with the accurate and timely preparation and processing of payroll
Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports
Maintain organised digital and physical filing systems
Support VAT returns, tax filings, and audit preparation
Communicate professionally with vendors and clients regarding billing or payment queries

Qualifications

Associate’s degree in Accounting
Proficiency in MS Excel and QuickBooks
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and basic accounting procedures.
Previous bookkeeping or accounting support experience is an asset.
Be able to work effectively under pressure.
Strong professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
Valid driver’s license and your own transportation.
Valid police certificate of character.
