Airswift is seeking a Project Engineer to work at Georgetown- Guyana, on a permanent position with a Oil and Gas Company.

Job Responsibilities

Provide onshore support for the planning and execution of preventive and planned corrective maintenance activities, ensuring timely resource allocation and effective communication with offshore teams.
Act as the primary onshore contact for breakdowns and troubleshooting, delivering prompt technical assistance to offshore personnel.
Contribute to annual budget planning by providing input on workforce, materials, and service requirements for maintenance coordination.
Ensure maintenance activities comply with sector regulations, MODEC guidelines, and internal standards, including the use of the Integrated Management System (IMS) and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Support the effectiveness of process safety barriers by monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommending technical actions to maintain operations within ALARP (As Low As Reasonably Practicable) levels.
Promote adherence to maintenance policies and the application of lessons learned to improve reliability and performance.
Contribute to the planning and execution of equipment and unit shutdowns or decommissioning as required.
Safeguard compliance with technical specifications and standards by supporting internal audits, identifying deviations, and recommending corrective actions.
Maintain effective communication and relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure alignment with company objectives and client expectations.
Participate in offshore visits as required to support maintenance activities and strengthen coordination between onshore and offshore teams.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS?

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering
Minimum 3 years of relevant field experience
Industry background: Oil and Gas preferred; candidates from Coast Guard or Shipyard environments are also acceptable
Fluent English
