Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Couva for an Assistant Pastry Chef. The Assistant Pastry Chef will assist in the preparation and execution of a variety of bakery and pastry items, maintain high culinary standards, and ensure food safety practices are upheld. Responsibilities include assisting with baking, decorating, and food preparation, collaborating with the team to develop distinctive recipes, and supporting the overall operations of the kitchen.
Qualifications

Proficiency in Bakery, Baking, and Pastry Techniques
Experience in Food Preparation and Cooking
Advanced Culinary Skills with a passion for innovation and creativity
Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards
Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Formal culinary training or certification is a plus
Previous experience in a professional kitchen or pastry environment is preferable
