Purpose of Job

The role involves leading and managing a team to achieve sales goals, operational efficiency, and exceptional customer service while maintaining compliance with HSE standards. It requires strategic planning, operational oversight, and team development to support organizational objectives.

Essential Functions:

Leadership ResponsibilitiesProvide direction and support to the team, ensuring they meet customer needs and achieve sales targets.
Assume overall responsibility for cost-efficient management of team activities.
Ensure quality service delivery aligned with organizational objectives and budgets.
Facilitate regular staff meetings and maintain open communication to ensure smooth daily operations.
Oversee personnel management, including performance reviews, training, development, and adherence to HR procedures.
Motivate and encourage team members to meet their objectives and uphold best practices.
Manage schedules, including holiday planning, to maintain adequate coverage.
Verify and approve timesheets for timely and accurate payment processing.

Operational Responsibilities:Prepare and submit management and ad hoc reports promptly.
Monitor stock levels, recommend adjustments, and manage inventory based on utilization trends.
Coordinate production schedules to meet urgent customer demands efficiently.
Review and enhance operational processes, implementing agreed improvements.
Oversee engineering and investigative tasks both on-site and in-house, ensuring timely delivery.
Manage project engineering activities, including scheduling, logistics, and reporting for hose surveys.
Approve contractor plans, including scopes, schedules, budgets, and risk management strategies.
Conduct field assessments, audits, and provide technical direction for project teams.
Support new product development and provide technical assistance for sales proposals.
Collaborate with administrators to prepare accurate quotes, contracts, and RFP/RFI responses.
Maintain accurate documentation of pricing, configurations, and sales demonstrations.
Deliver professional sales and technical presentations to potential clients.

Sales ResponsibilitiesMeet and exceed monthly sales and profit targets as per the approved budget.
Develop annual sales budgets and forecasts aligned with the company’s goals.
Implement processes for sales forecasting and communicate demand to internal departments.
Drive growth through customer-specific sales plans and targeted sales strategies.
Manage major accounts, ensuring effective communication and swift resolution of customer needs.
Monitor customer satisfaction levels and implement measures to enhance service quality and value.
Ensure compliance with departmental KPIs, including delivery performance, customer satisfaction, and sales targets.
Any other related duties as required by the job function.

Required Education

BSc. in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Required Experience

5+ years working experience in a related field
3+ years supervisory or administrative roles
Project Management Training
Offshore work experience will be an asset

Other Must posses a valid driver’s license
