Position Overview:

Stonegate Global Fund Administration operates in a results-driven, and customer service-oriented environment that is focused on consistently delivering efficient and high-quality services.

The Fund Accountant – Financial Statements will operate in a fast-paced and accuracy-focused setting to prepare financial statements quarterly and yearly according to GAAP and IFRS guidelines, standards, and regulations. The position holder will assist and support the Fund Accounting Unit in year-end audits and ensure all statutory deadlines are met in addition to special projects.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Gather, monitor, and analyze data from in-house systems, to produce financial statements according to GAAP/IFRS.
Prepare documentation such as but not limited to footnotes for each fund according to GAAP/IFRS.
Generate and verify supporting schedules to support each figure on the financial statements.
Resolve all queries from internal and external auditors in a timely manner.
Perform regular checks to ensure that the prior year's figures are rolled correctly.
Ensure that the share register roll is completed accurately.
Prepare Quarterly Financial Statements for private equity funds.
Undertake ad-hoc tasks, special assignments, and projects in support of the Operations Department.
Perform other related duties including but not limited to customary fund administration duties and functions as assigned.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)/CPA
At least two (2) years’ experience in the finance industry.
At least three (3) years experience preparing financial statements in MS Word and MS Excel according to GAAP/IFRS.
A background in the auditing investment field with at least three (3) years’ experience in the auditing field.
Working knowledge of audit software.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Teams.

Ability to positively influence stakeholder dynamics, serving as an ambassador to Stonegate Global.
