JOB SUMMARY

The Promotions and Equipment Manager is responsible for and oversees the maintenance, care and efficient operation of all equipment in the organization. Additionally, this role’s function is to ensure that all brand-related sponsorships, event activations, sampling executions or other activities under the umbrella of brand-activation are well planned and reflect the highest quality of branding and service at a competitively negotiated rate.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Meeting with Brand Managers, to understand the key Brand Activation deliverables in line with the approved Commercial Plan for the respective brands, and to plan and coordinate the timely execution of same to meet the Brand objectives.
Preparing the budgets for all brand activations, closely collaborating with the brand team as required to align expectations and budget allocations.
Liaise with the Sales Team to coordinate and execute in-store sampling activities, working closely with the Trade Manager to ensure the preparation of an effective sampling schedule for in-store sampling activations.
Conducting site-visits to sponsored events and periodic checks to sampling activations to ensure the highest quality of execution by third service providers and leading any corrective actions 'on-the-ground' which are required to ensure this. When needed, making recommendations to the Brand teams related to Brand Activation opportunities and Event participation.
Submission of Post Evaluation reports on investments made and documenting key learnings to ensure continuous improvement of brand activations going forward.
Working with external Agency Partners and Third-party suppliers to ensure top quality promotional support materials and branded infrastructure for brand activation activities and events, and the delivery of these in time.
Work alongside the Refrigeration Technician Supervisor on the scheduling of the daily workflow.
Audits and maintains an accurate listing of equipment by serial number.
Inspects and actions maintenance on equipment on trade & in storage
Ensures equipment are ready for regular business and special events.
Maintains files of warranties, records, licenses, inspections, service agreements and contracts for various pieces of equipment.
Maintains the inventory, storage, and distribution of equipment.
Provides recommendations for purchases of new equipment and parts, based on advice of Refrigeration Technician Supervisor
Collaborate with other appropriate management staff to prepare and disseminate equipment to trade.
Conducting routine trade visits to inspect & report on efficiency of equipment usage
Review use of equipment on trade to ensure maximum sales potential
Report on sales and assess performance of each brand equipment to optimize sales
Collaborate with sales team to provide guidance aimed at optimizing the performance of equipment, focusing on improving output.
Conduct monthly data analysis and present findings to the Commercial team (Sales, Marketing and Warehousing)
Provide ongoing communication support to the sales team to ensure alignment and progress in driving strategies, including updates on new equipment, phase-outs, and removals.
Perform regular audits of equipment loaned to Depot Operators, to ensure optimal performance
Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s degree

· Experience managing the company equipment.

REQUIRED

· Associates degree

· Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn the equipment to be maintained.

· Ability to maintain basic records and warranties.

· Ability to understand written directions in manuals and on manufacturer websites.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software as required to complete and maintain records.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

· Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the facilities.

· Must be able to access all parts of the company’s equipment.
