Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Automotive Parts Manager to oversee our parts department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring excellent customer service. This role is crucial in supporting our service operations and maximizing profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, manage inventory orders, and ensure proper storage of parts and accessories.

Supplier Coordination: Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to negotiate pricing and terms.

Sales Support: Assist service technicians with parts identification and availability and provide accurate quotes to customers.

Customer Service: Address customer inquiries and concerns, ensuring a positive experience while promoting parts sales.

Staff Management: Supervise parts department staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.

Reporting and Analysis: Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory levels, and financial performance; analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Process Improvement: Implement best practices for inventory control and workflow efficiency within the parts department.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and environmental regulations.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in automotive technology or business management preferred.

3+ years of experience in automotive parts management or a related field.

Strong knowledge of automotive parts and systems.

Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
