About the Role:

At Aurora Chambers, you will handle a range of legal matters across family law, land law, estate law, contract law, and civil litigation. This is a task-focused role with opportunities to manage cases and contribute as needed. With the support of a seasoned team, you’ll take on cases with greater autonomy, build upon your legal knowledge, and develop your professional strengths. Key Responsibilities:

Handle cases independently, from intake to resolution, with support as needed.
Conduct in-depth legal research and draft documents, agreements, and pleadings.
Represent clients in court for hearings, all-parties conferences, and litigation matters.
Consult with and advise clients, providing clear, effective guidance on legal issues.
Collaborate with colleagues on complex cases and contribute to strategic planning.
Cultivate strong relationships with clients, ensuring trust and long-term value.

Qualifications:

Attorney qualified to practice in Trinidad & Tobago with relevant experience (1-3 years preferred) in family law, land law, estate law, contract law, or civil litigation.
Proven ability to conduct client consultations and maintain confidentiality.
Strong research, writing, and courtroom advocacy skills.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and dedicated to delivering high-quality client service.
