Role Description

As a Litigation Paralegal, you will work closely with our talented attorneys, providing support before, during, and after trials.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 -6:00 PM EST

Main Responsibilities:

Request & review medical bills & records
Upload cases into case management system
Draft legal pleadings
Provide clients with updates
Schedule hearings, mediations, and depositions
Electronically file documents for court
Perform administrative-related duties
Draft and respond to written discovery.
Assist with other tasks as requested by the attorney

Qualifications & Requirements

Associate degree or certificate in Law, Legal Studies or certification in paralegal program or business management.
At least 1-year similar experience will be advantageous.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Outlook, and type no less than 35 words per minute.
Proficient in calendaring depositions, mediations, and hearings.
Must possess the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage workload with a positive attitude and minimal supervision.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work remotely and support your team.
