The Starlite Group Limited is looking for a suitably qualified persons to fill the position of Pharmacy Technician. As a Pharmacy technician, you will be responsible for assisting the Senior Pharmacist with the daily duties of running the Dispensary.

Primary Responsibilities:

Greets and receives prescriptions from customers for dispensing and any over-the-counter requests.
Assists the Pharmacist by typing prescription labels, and ensuring patient profiles are entered with dosage instructions. All prescriptions must be checked and reviewed by the Pharmacist on duty and signed off.
Assists the Pharmacist by dispensing CDAP Pharmaceuticals, ensuring labels are prepared as above. Receives CDAP stock upon delivery.
Review and check shelves regularly for short-expiry Pharmaceuticals within three months of expiry and recorded in accordance with Starlite Pharmacy.
Ensure shelves are replenished first thing every morning.
Manage any and or all PATIENT PROGRAMS from Pharmaceutical Companies for free products to customers.
Ensure all workstations at the end of shifts are clean and sanitized.
Ensure prompt and courteous customer service at all times.
Assist the Pharmacist with any other duties that may be deemed necessary as the pharmacist requests.

Qualifications:

Must have completed COSTAATT's Pharmacy Assistant Course
Must be adept at using equipment in the Dispensary
