The Grenada Airports Authority (GAA) invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced professionals for the position of Quality Assurance and Compliance Manager. This senior role is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, strengthening institutional governance, and promoting continuous improvement across all airport operations.

The Quality Assurance and Compliance Manager leads the development and oversight of GAA's enterprise-wide quality assurance and compliance framework, ensuring alignment with national and international aviation regulatory standards. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the role provides independent assurance to Executive Management and supports effective governance, risk management, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) and compliance frameworks
Ensure compliance with ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs) and applicable national regulations
Plan and conduct internal audits, inspections, and compliance reviews, and coordinate external regulatory audits
Lead corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes to address non-compliance and systemic risks
Monitor and report on compliance trends, risks, and performance to senior management and governance bodies
Provide expert advice on regulatory matters, policy development, and governance
Promote a culture of accountability, compliance, and continuous improvement
Liaise with regulatory authorities, auditors, and key stakeholders using a risk-based approach.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Quality Management, Engineering, Safety Management, or a related discipline (postgraduate qualifications or professional certifications are an asset)
Progressive experience in quality assurance, compliance, auditing, or regulatory oversight within a highly regulated environment, preferably aviation
Experience working with regulatory frameworks and supporting external audits
Working knowledge of ISO9001 QMS standard and ISO9001 internal auditing
Demonstrated ability to operate at a senior professional level with sound judgment and independence
