Key Responsibilities:

• Fleet Management:

o Responsible for preventive maintenance scheduling by creating and managing regular service schedules for all trucks, including oil changes, brakes, tyres, and inspections.

o Oversee repairs by supervising mechanics and service providers to ensure high-quality, timely repairs.

o Maintain compliance by ensuring all vehicles have up-to-date insurance, registration, inspection certificates, and meet safety regulations.

o Control costs by tracking maintenance costs, fuel usage, and cost per km; identify cost-reduction opportunities.

o Provide support to Drivers by training drivers on daily vehicle checks, fuel efficiency, and safe driving practices.

o Maintain responsiveness to breakdowns by coordinating rapid repairs or deploy backup vehicles to minimize delivery disruptions.

o Manage spare parts by sourcing, negotiating, and managing stock of critical spare parts to avoid delays.

Facilities Management:

o Responsible for preventive Building Maintenance including maintenance of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire safety systems, and structural elements of the warehouse and offices.

o Manage repairs & Contractor Management by coordinating with vendors for timely, cost-effective repairs.

o Ensure safety and compliance by ensuring the building meets OSHA, fire, and health standards.

o Provide security oversight by managing CCTV, alarms, and access control systems.

Qualifications:

• 3 – 5 years’ experience in fleet or facilities management

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Facilities Management or related field

• Experience in managing service providers, contractors and budgets

• Working knowledge of OSHA and facility safety regulations

Skills:

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on operational efficiency.

• Negotiation and vendor management skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to urgent issues.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
