Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Nassau for a Risk Manager. The Risk Manager will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and minimizing financial and operational risks to safeguard the institution's resources and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing risk management strategies, conducting risk assessments, monitoring financial activities, and preparing detailed reports for leadership. Additionally, the Risk Manager will oversee internal controls, liaise with auditors and regulatory bodies, and train staff on risk management practices.

Qualifications

Expertise in Risk Management, Risk Assessment, and Compliance with regulatory frameworks
Experience in Financial Analysis, Financial Reporting, and Budget Oversight
Strong skills in Strategic Planning and Problem-Solving
Proficient in Stakeholder Engagement, Communication, and Leadership
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Relevant educational background, such as a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (certifications in Risk Management or Compliance are a plus)
Understanding of the credit union or financial services industry, with familiarity in regulatory standards and guidelines
