Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Nassau, The Bahamas. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, reconciling accounts, monitoring budgets, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The role also involves processing payroll, managing financial transactions, conducting audits, and assisting in financial planning and forecasting.

Qualifications

Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and financial planning
Strong skills in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes
Knowledge of compliance with accounting standards and financial auditing
Experience with accounting software and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and problem-solving abilities
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
Experience in a similar role, preferably within the security or service industry, is a plus
Professional certifications, such as CPA or ACCA, are highly advantageous
