Primary Function:

To coordinate and oversee the efficient movement of goods, materials, and equipment while ensuring timely delivery, accurate documentation, and effective communication with suppliers, customers, and freight providers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Coordinate local and international shipments from suppliers to customers and company facility.
Monitor and track orders, shipments, and deliveries to ensure timely completion.
Prepare and maintain shipping, customs, and import/export documentation.
Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, suppliers, and customers regarding shipment status and logistics requirements.
Coordinate transportation and delivery schedules.
Maintain accurate inventory and shipment records.
Resolve shipping and delivery issues in a timely and professional manner.
Prepare logistics reports and update management on shipment status and operational performance.
Ensure compliance with company procedures and relevant regulations.

Qualifications:

High school diploma with at least five (5) C.S.E.C. passes (including Maths & English); a Diploma or Certificate in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field would be an asset.
Minimum of two (2) years' experience in logistics, shipping, procurement, or a related role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Willingness to learn and grow with the company.
Punctuality and professionalism.
