Role Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Driver/Courier to join our Inventory & Logistics team. The role ensures timely deliveries, supports warehouse operations, and upholds service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver goods and collect payments/documents.
Assist with bank transactions and mail distribution.
Maintain company vehicles and ensure proper loading/unloading.
Support warehouse organization and stock counts
Assists with other daily operational activities in the Warehouse.
Ensures compliance for all Inventory and Logistics processes.
Any other duties that may be assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES & EXPERIENCE

Minimum of three (3) years’ working experience (in a similar position will be an asset)
Minimum of 3 CXC/O’Level passes including Mathematics and English
Holder of a valid Heavy-T License
Defensive driving certificate will be an asset
Strong organizational, time management and communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Ability to operate independently and exercise initiative

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Driver/Courier based in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. The Driver/Courier will be responsible for transporting goods and packages safely and efficiently to designated locations. This includes loading and unloading items, ensuring proper handling and care of materials, and adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. The individual will also be expected to perform vehicle inspections to ensure operational safety and maintain accurate delivery logs.

Qualifications

Experience with Truck Driving and a valid CDL Class A license
Strong interpersonal and Communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members
Proven Customer Service skills to ensure professional and courteous interactions
Familiarity with vehicle maintenance and safety protocols for optimal use of trucks
Good time management and organizational skills
Clean driving record with knowledge of local routes in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago
Ability to lift and transport heavy items as part of the job
